Default Installed KST Mayhem 10.75" Today

Got new Mayhem 10.75" bagger bars for a steal off eBay and installed today. Reused all cables/wires on my '13 FLHX. Had to re-route the clutch cable behind the trees but still up through the fairing hole. I can go lock to lock without a problem, but another 2-4" would be required to route as OEM. Moved the controls connectors to under the radio without issue. TBW wiring was plenty long. Ran the wires internally, what a bitch. I like the feel and at 10.75" I can still use the fairing mirrors. They feel good, remind me of the feel of my gangster apes on my FLSTFB.

They look great!! And you spent about 10% of what some people pay to have apes installed. Can't beat that with a stick!! I really like the bends and miters on those bars. Can you put up a link where you bought them?

Thanks. It was just a guy on eBay that bought the 10.75 and before installing decided he wanted 13" instead and wanted to get these out of his house.

Congrats on the new bars. I'm kinda partial to the Mayhems myself. I know it's too late now but for the record you don't have to remove the radio or lighter.

Thanks. Yeah, I was originally going to do it w/o tilting the inner faring by just sliding the radio back about 3 inches to access the upper clamp bolts. Then I decided to tilt the fairing down and wanted room to work with re-routing the clutch cable and control plugs, etc. Having that out makes it easy. I also plan on replacing that head unit and wanted to have a look at the mounting etc.

Gotcha. You scored well on the cost of your install. Good find.
