Not very decorative but I used some plastic plugs I found at Home Depot, about $2.

I just removed mine the other day and just left the bolts in the holes and it does look crappy. I like the chrome buttons, think I'll try that.

OP, you can pick up a few bucks selling the unused pegs to an owner who wants to replace floorboards.
but I leave my pegs on- on long trips it can give another place for the feets to reduce stiffening up

Not too sure what size the holes are but the HD P&A has chrome allen hole plugs for about $6. You could probably get 'em at Home Depot for less though.

I plugged the unused holes with stainless, hex head button head bolts when I installed the passenger floorboards. My wife is tall so the floorboards are mounted in the lowest possible position leaving empty, rusty holes above. Took one of the floorboard bolts to Fastenall for the correct thread.

Might not be what you had in mind, but I did this on one side. Still working on the other side.
It is a small brass fire extinguisher and since I ride a firefighter edition it fits right in.

They're 94132-93T for the 3/8" hole. They got 'em in other sizes. Page 517 in the '14 P&A book.
