My brother did the 105 kit with heads... Very economically priced and you could do the install yourself.

I just put a 103 kit on my 07 streetglide also used the cnc pro port heads and 255 cams. I was tempted to get roller rockers but decided not too cause of price. I have vance & hines big shots with quiet baffles open backing plate on the aircleaner. Had it dyno tuned using the SERT. Not convinced the tuner was all that good but I know less than they do about that part. Any ways torque was 103 ftlbs hp was 80 which sounded low to me. Hp and torque meet as torque falls at 5300 rpm which is also peak hp. Alot of people put the 255 cams down. The way I ride I am hardly ever above 4500 rpm before I use the shifter. Now according to my tach and speedo at 3500 rpm in 6th gear I was doing 110 mph. I was trying to see when the "early torque drop" would be felt. If this is consistant with all 255 cams and 6 speed trannys if you need more speed you should prolly get a sport bike not a touring bike.

Forget 255s, roller rockers, Okeefe & Thunder max.
That is one of the most messed up combos I've heard in a while!
Ya really need to decide what you want to achieve and talk to a few good builders. Proper 103, cam, "street" port combo and proper tune with TTS/SEPT/PV) can make a nice "budget" build. There are lots of guys offering complete 107 kits for a little more. Good luck.

Those 105 kits are nice. Even if they do use KaBoom pistons. 105 is a nice size bore and keeps the liner nice and stable, IMHO.

Warranty?
If you have had your bike over 30 days you will most likely have a 30 day warranty on the cams and work.
Did it on my 07 just before the warranty went south. had 30 days like I mentioned.
Within 30 days they add it to your existing warranty.
Unless your shop is doing something HD doesn't know about or something has changed.

Running a Stage 1 on the 09FLHTP w/ SE255's. Could not be more pleased. More power,(torque) than you can use.

You can spend a lot more on cams, not sure you can buy better street performance for the street. I bought mine pulled from a low mileage SE110 and paid $100.

Lots of haters of the SE255's here on the forum, but many more happy rders running them.
Do have to say I did see them "fall on their face", but t was @ 5500rpm when rev limiter kicked in! Pulled like a tractor until then!

SE255 cams...Great torque, I was very happy with them until I started having "hot" start issues. Nothing more embarassing than having your pride and joy kickback and backfire every time you stop for gas on a long trip. I'll never use them again on a 103" build. Not without compression releases anyway.

I have the S&S 551 cams with the built in Easy Start compression releases. I disabled my ACR's via the Power Vision. They work flawlessly. The 551 is similar to the 255. It will give you all the low down torque you need. No headwork or compression releases needed.

That's probably the best advice I've seen here. Unless you have a goal you're going to waste a lot of money. And just saying you want more power isn't good enough. You need to narrow that down to the riding style you want.
