I have 254E SE cams. Very happy with it, suits my needs.

So what are you thinking, maybe the 555s? I'm on the fence thinking about my cam choice when I bump it to 107 on the trike.

Again it all is about proper combo of parts (A/C/pipes/pistons/heads/cams) and tune to get the results you are looking for. Talk to a few builders about what ya are trying to achieve and how to get there.

Our 2007 and 2008 both Ultra Classics have SE 103 Stage II with 255 cams and has been trouble free over 70K miles combine.Power is adequate in passing , head winds, and on steep up hill roads while at the same time fuel mileage improved by 2-3 MPG. Make sure to have ACR while its apart which will help saving the starter and (compensator) may be not sure of that one.
