Here's my 'Top 10 list' after spending several months on this touring forem.
(letterman watch out)

People on this forem are 'dead wrong' when:

10. they call Road Glides's 'fugly'.
9. they say they have never dropped a bike...BS
8. they don't admit to sneaking out to their garage to stare at their rides
7. when they blame their wives on making financial decision for a Harley (actually not sure about this one)
6. they say metallic grey is the fastest color for a SG
5. they say cylinder head cooling fans work
4. they say that they would rather Not have a 'Rushmore' (thought i'd throw that in..)
3. they have solved wind buffeting
2. synthetic oil is the only oil to use
and the # 1 reason when people on this forem are dead wrong is
1. when they say Harley's are starting to look like rice burner's

For me your right on with---10---9 with no damage---7 my last 2 Harleys
6 I think you mean Charcoal Pearl---That is it for me.

 

I am disappointed you didn't say anything about "pulling the trigger" LOL

#3 almost no wind buffeting- in my car.

sitting on top of a motor I expect to feel heat, get my wind and be in touch with the time/place with all my senses.

I am completely inspired in my riding by Pirsig's Pink Book.

# 10- Road Glides are Fugly. You just forgot to capitalize it. Man show some respect.

 

Regarding number 5 - and do you own one, how much actual testing have you done? Whatever!

 

I liked it, but I wouldn't had put #5 in there.

 

What about proper location of gas cap or proper way to rock a doo rag. Sorry to say your top 10 is flawed.
