Think of this. How much more do they weigh than a standard cap. Centrifugal force of the added weight at highway speed has caused valve stems to fail. I know I don't want a rapid air loss while I'm riding. Add some other gadgets to your bike but not if it has a chance to effect safety.

On my Vulcan 750: I used Victor valve caps that show green with correct pressure, red if under inflated. For my Ultra I bought a different chrome colored pressure indicating cap. They came apart, so I went back to Victors. They also came apart and my front tire went flat.
I think the brake calipers rip them off. Don't do it.
I guess the red color could be a problem. I'll have to look at other colors. As far as weight, they're aluminum so i would think they would be light. Also how does the safety wire attach to the wheel?
