Default Illuminated dice valve stem caps

I've seen them in red and it seems like the faster the wheel spins the brighter the light is. Are they worth the money?

Know your laws on colored lights such as this; great way to get a expensive ticket or worse in some areas.

Think of this. How much more do they weigh than a standard cap. Centrifugal force of the added weight at highway speed has caused valve stems to fail. I know I don't want a rapid air loss while I'm riding. Add some other gadgets to your bike but not if it has a chance to effect safety.

On my Vulcan 750: I used Victor valve caps that show green with correct pressure, red if under inflated. For my Ultra I bought a different chrome colored pressure indicating cap. They came apart, so I went back to Victors. They also came apart and my front tire went flat.
I think the brake calipers rip them off. Don't do it.

I guess the red color could be a problem. I'll have to look at other colors. As far as weight, they're aluminum so i would think they would be light. Also how does the safety wire attach to the wheel?
