Yea sorry, I did have so me 'Revzilla cash' from a previous purchase I forgot about that.

Do you have to have a smart phone with internet service to program the tuner? Or can you connect to a laptop? Or can you use someone else's phone, tune your bike, and just leave it alone?

 

You need to be able to use the app so no laptop. You could someone else's iphone or android with the fee app installed, program the bike then disconnect. You won't be able to view the live data though. So it depends on what you want to achieve. I programmed mine then disconnected it but once I get a iPhone mount I like I'll just keep it installed so I can play with it and the auto tune feature.

You can use an newer iPod or iPad as well.

Great post, thanks. I got my FP3 from Eastern Performance for 350.00 last week. I'm just waiting on my Screaming Eagle air cleaner, I ordered last week from Kutter to arrive. Can't wait to install it. I also have the Ram mount with an X grip for my S4 to view the real time data.
