Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 installed!
I received it today via UPS and installed it.
No issues with the connectors or the Bluetooth connection to my iPhone 5s. I imputed my specs ie my Vance & Hines slash cut slip on's, baffle type, the motor (one choice obviously) and it pulled up my map. Then you click, program bike.
Mine got hung up here...
I called the customer service number to make sure it was safe to disconnect or does it normally take 10 minutes. The rep said to disconnect and try it again. I reentered all my bikes info and about a min later this...
While on the phone with the rep I asked a few questions.
I have a Screaming Eagle air filter but all the maps they have available are based on the fact that you have some brand of high flow air cleaner. If you don't then you will have to just use the auto-tune feature. The auto-tune feature does all the work for you if you don't have any of the exhaust brands or models they have mapped. Also you just ride to tune it and it will show you when all the required fields are populated and when you can shut it off. If you have to shut it down before that it will pick up the process next time you ride.
Rep added that because this is so new they are still working on tutorials for some of the features. I found it very user friendly.
My particular map also automatically raised my rev limiter to 6200 rpm.
Some fields you can change are front and rear spark advance, air fuel ratio, front and rear cylinder VE, Accel and Decell enrichment/Enleanment, idle rpm, rev limit and ACR (automatic compression release).
You can save 6 maps total on your device. Say you were running racing fuel and had a map for that for example.
Because it sucks living in NH in the winter I wasn't able to take it out for a ride but did start it up and every ran fine. The monitoring gauges are a nice touch of you have a mount for your iPhone/Android device. You obviously have to keep the fuel pack connected to use the gauges. I installed the map and disconnected mine for now.
I hope this helps those of you looking to do a stage 1 and don't want to pay the dealership. I paid $330 for mine from Revzilla.com.

It is unclear to be what they mean by "all new Harley Davidson's" but looks like if you don't have an 2014 (with HDLAN) it's not going to work.

I quickly looked at some others but the ability to make individual changes right on my iPhone, ease of use, auto-tune capability, and the Vance & Hines reputation all led to the Fuelpak FP3.
