I figured mine out and turned out to be 2 wires switched on the plug. Check the plugs coming from the bike and the plugs you tampered with and compe them to make sure everything is the same.
There is a black relay switch (square) under the seat in a rubber boot (back left corner). Pull this out, make sure it is connected properly, maybe even put a little dielectric grease in it.
check all the pins coming up from fuse,this happened to by buddy and we found one of the pins was not quite in and locked.It never made power to the switch. take your time and start over and forget about what you did. its frustrating to say the least,but start slow. Keep us posted. Thanks
