Default Boots?

Looking to buy first pair of rideing boots,saw a pair of black leather genuine Dickies boot thick rubber soles about 10" tall at WalMart $99.00ca. Does this sound about right?should a good boot have any vents to breath or not ness,maybe you guys cangive some input on type of boots you where and why.THX

Do a searchat the bottom for"boots". Been tons of discussions on them. I took most peoples recommendations and bought a pair to Cruiserworks. The're comfortable, light and waterproof (but expensive).

I have the Redwing 980's. Black tall boot with speed laces. Lot's of support and nice tall heel. You don't want to go cheap when it comes to your riding boots.
