Touring battery
Riding season is just getting underway around Ohio and I need to replace my battery on my 2012 Road Glide. Seems the battery is not always up to the task of starting when it's hot. Been reading posts about Big Crank and others but no one mentions a brand new agm battery from Yuasa that has 500 cca and big heavy duty terminal posts. It is Yuasa GYZ32HL - not any cheaper than Moco battery but hopefully better . My Indy just showed me one and I'm going to try it. Anyone tried one - I think it's pretty new ?

For those of you who don't know, it was 76 degress in Ohio on Sunday and it is 35 degrees (for the high) today (Tuesday). Welcome to Ohio!
Anyway, I am in the same boat Satman. Can't decide what to do. Let me know how much you pay out the door for that battery.

No matter what battery you choose, they ALL need to be on a tender. I don't care what brand it is, it needs to be fully charged once in a while.
I have used Big Crank and HD batteries and neither lasted as long as they could of until I started using trickle chargers. HD battery in my Indian has lasted 5 years so far. Had a Big crank I never used a charger on and it lasted 2 yrs.
