Hate to have to ask but what is the issue with salt? Having always been in AZ and Cali guess I am clueless about that. Does it just get all over the chrome?

It turns to a powder on the road and gets all over everything. Not that big of a deal really. Just wash it off. Or you can whine about it like a little bitch. All part of riding where it snows.

 

No salt her...they just dump sand everywhere

 

LOL Well salt has never been on my 12 FLHX which represents 30K of my hard earned cash when I got her finally how I like her best! No matter how much you wash them you don't get all that crap off! My bike still looks showroom new by the way cause I'm a whining little bitch! Bite Me!

 

Salt = rust. That is, if it isn't washed away real quick.

 

Wow, then I agree that just plain sucks.

 

Salt and sand were poured on the roads here this morning.
Will take 2 more drenching downpours to clean the mess off the roads.

 

And then as soon as it gets washed off and things warm up the "chip sealing" starts............................

 

I hate salt as much as the next guy but I would bet the farm that you would sue the pants off the state, county or city that did not make the roads safe causing the loss of one of your loved one's.
