Default Best stretched bags for a 2008 Streetglide

Who makes a good stretched bag for a 2008 streetglide?
I have heard that the fiberglass ones are prone to cracking and to stay away from them..??

Don't tear me up too bad as this is my first touring bike. All my others have been bar hoppers and old pan/shovels.

CVO bags from Eastern Performance. Affordably priced and look good with a stock Glide rear fender

Bags depends solely on what look you are trying to achieve AND how much money you have. Longer 4"+ bags usually dont look right unless you are willing to do a matching rear fender.....which is more money. You could end up easily in the $1500 range or more with bags, a fender, and matching paint.

I went CVO style VTwin bags from Eastern Performance, which didn't require me to go with a new rear fender setup. Bag bottoms were $360.00 and paint was $200.00 and they match perfectly. I eyeballed bags from TopShop and Native Customs but money is an issue for me, so I went with the VTwins instead and am happy with the look.

An HD is a financial slippery slope bro.....hang on for the ride!! LOL!

depends on how big you want to go and what shape. if you just want slightly extended bags, than Eastern Performance CVO bags are the best deal you can get. but if you want to go bigger than 3", the options (and prices) become much more varied, but as someone said, anything over 4" will need a new rear fender/fender cover to make it really match up right

I ordered Fairing Factory ones, sure not the best but not too expensive. Now you have Fairing plus which make ones much cheaper...
