Aux switch question

The aux switch goes to the aux connector plug under the seat, near the battery compartment.
HD sells a harness that plugs into the aux connector

NOTE
An accessory “Y” connector (Part No. 70264-94) is available
from your dealer and allows you to connect more than one
accessory into the accessory circuit

I'm pretty sure that wire is just a 12 volt switched wire. I tried to pick mine up under the seat but couldn't find voltage.
There are 2 orange wires (can't remember the stripe colors) under the right speaker. One of them gets 12 volts with the aux switch. Kind of tight to get to but doable. That's where I got mine.

No it is not. I believe it is for some international models. I used this wire to power my gps. When you put the glow rings on the headlight they tell you to use this wire to power them up

Bingo. My HD LED strips plug into the orange and black wires in the headlight harness not used on the domestic models.
