Default What steps do you take to protect your ride?

What do you do for that little added protection so the dumb fu€k that wants your bike while your back it turned can't take it? My buddy just had his taken security set and out of his garage. He always had the badass "they better not let me catch them" attitude going on but the boogie man got his bike. Didn't take anything other than the motorcycle.

All over you see so many bikes being taken from homes, parking lots everywhere, it's crazy!

Watch youtube and there's so many vids of idiots actually taking the bikes as you watch.

We have extra security alarms and I go as far as homemade chocking our bikes when having to walk off and leave them at some events. Insurance isn't going to write that check to replace it properly.

Bad thing is that some motorcycle people are stealing motorcycles! I have a brother inlaw that is a cop and he tells me all the time how these guys at Daytona, Sturgis, bike functions etc. are taking these bikes changing parts out and riding new bikes on our dime.
Easy pickins!!

Doing anything over and above to keep it safer with you?
Might want to go the extra mile at times to protect your ride.

I have insurance....... and a Ruger in my conceal holster.

And.....

Due to the escalating cost of ammunition, warning shots are no longer an option.

All I can do is use the locks on the Bike, that only keeps the honest people honest. Bad guys
will still take stuff no matter what, insurance is the only backup, and a 38 special.

Wow...in a garage?

The thief would have to move a car after he gets passed my alarm and my dog.

Not much you can do. If someone wants it, they're gonna get it. I keep it fully locked. In first gear so it's difficult to push. I have an alarm on it and I have good insurance.

I'm not going to shoot someone for attempting to take my bike. You pull that trigger and you'll have more legal problems to worry about.

YES a blood thirsty beast trained for the sole purpose of protecting my bike.......LOL. I'm thinking they might take my car first since it's nicer than my bike.

I put a bag of fire ants under the seat. A little pressure and the bag breaks.
