I don't think you guys know about how great Amsoil is, if you haven't read all the reviews it is the best thing out there. All I've ever used in all my Harleys engines is amsiol. Well they don't sell amsoil local so yesterday I bought some mobil 1 at auto zone (with out a coupon)and put it in last night. My bike was almost instantly quieter in the top end, by a lot. Don't care what benefits the amsoil might have given my bike but after one ride with the Mobil 1 I was sold.

Can't believe no ones ever tried this stuff before! Now start the Amsoil/Mobil 1 war.

I'll play: Many former Amsoil users have stated the same condition after switching to Mobil 1 vTwin Syn. Let's go further, Quicksilver 20w50 full syn for vtwin air cooled motors, available at Wally, in the marine oil section for $23 a gal. Quicksilver is Mercury Marine product. That's what I am using now.

When I ran an OCI with Amsoil it was the noisiest crap in the last 1000k miles of that run! I'm done with that crap!

I've run the Amsoil 20/50 I think it's a good product & very similar to Mobil1. From what I have heard Mobil1 is the maker of the base compounds for Amsoil that's my 2 cents

My Walmart doesn't carry either Mobil 1 V-twin or 15w50 car oil.

You can order it on line and they'll ship it to your store.

If your Wally is a Supercenter, they usually have oil in 3 areas, the oil section, the motorcycle section and a marine section. Most Supercenters have the Mobile 1 vTwin and Valvoline 20w50 syn and the 4T oil in the motorcycle section, not the motor oil section. The Quicksilver brand vTwin 20w50 Syn is in the marine section.
