Default 14' radio and Scala G9

Has anyone used the Scala G9 with the new 14' BT radio?
I am hoping I can use the scala to hook to my phone and the HD radio for music and GPS . I have been messing around some with this but have not got it tweaked just right yet . Any ideas?
Thanks

The scale g9 I'm sure you already know can be paired directly with your phone, it has radio station capabilities already in it and it bluetooths to any gps.

I don't have a 14 but I've been using G9 for over a year and love it.
In my opinion I hate having too much stuff transmitting right into my ears.
Gps.....no way do I want turn by turn going right into my ears. I rather just glance at the display.

The g9 radio in my opinion sucks but let me explain. Those little g9 speakers can not compare with batwing speakers. So in short I probably didn't answer any of your questions relating to the 14 radio but I just wanted to share my experience with the g9.

I love it for it's 1 mile range.....maybe more than that. It has saved myself and my buddies *** on several occasions and brought our trips to a whole new level.

actually you did , on my old ride .. i needed the helmet speakers as at 80 mph I could not hear the speakers on the highway . Have not had enough road miles on my new one to find it out. . glad to hear the range is as advertised and then some..

Yea at 80 MPH it's tough.
I have a J & M system/amp, hog tune tweeters etc.....at 80 it's still very tough. A taller windshield DEFINITLY helps.

So many threads on this already! The bottom line is, not now. Some will specualte that HD might add this feature, others will insist it can't be done no matter what. There are some after market devices that plug into the headset port on the gas tank that will do BT to your headset. For now, that's about it.

Sucks! I consider this one of 2 major face palms HD has for the Rushmore bikes. The other being the 9 waypoint limitation in the GPS.

And yes, I own one. I am very happy with the bike overall. I think the missed it by "that" much on the infotainment system though. :P
