Sadly, I know what the cat's farts smell like.......clears a room on no time.......and that ain't what the garage smells like......but it was a good theory

**** can happen anywhere. I get the fuel smell all the time when parked. Sometimes while sitting at red lights.

Does your bike have the catalytic converter on it still? If so....that's where the rotten egg odor is coming from.

This is correct. If you have a gasoline smell then my guess is you have gasoline running into the pipes and into the converter causing it to smell. Maybe an injector leaking? Who knows. Is it hard to start up after you park it for an hour?

This is what stumps me....the bike runs great!! Pulled the plugs just to look at the ceramic. nice light tan. How can I check if an injector is leaking?

Sounds like a dead animal. Peek around the bike. Maybe something wintered in your exhaust and decided to die in there.
