If you're from Mass and going to have to pay the sales tax at registration anyway, stick to Mass and NH (tax free)

+1 for Heritage HD (in Concord, NH)
http://www.heritageh-d.com/

Laconia HD (in Meredeth, NH)
http://laconiaharley.com/

Manchester HD
http://www.manchesterhd.com/

Sadly, I've been away from home way too many years to know anyone working at the dealerships anymore, but Manchester HD is the largest, and they move A LOT of bikes, new and used - which may be a good thing on your trade - they're not afraid of taking another in.

Good luck!

My family has bought 3 touring bikes from Russ' Ocean State Harley, two locations in Exeter, RI and Warwick, RI.
Great bunch of people and they sell at MSRP.

I haven't purchased a bike from them in 30 + years, but Ronnie's in Pittsfield, MA did me right. He also has deals on parts.

Ocean State HD is a great dealership, knowledgeable non pushy staff. I bought my SG from them. I have had bad experiences at Precision and Minute Man HD Just my 2cents

I bought my 14 SG from Wilkins HD in Barre, VT. I had a battle with cancer, had the surgery, and was recouping at home. I had my appointment at the doctors to tell me that I was in remission, and they felt that they got it all. Two days later, my fiancé and I went to Wilkins and bought the SG. My fiancé (unknown to me) had been talking with Jon Sargent in sales. When we walked in, all of the employees were standing at the front of the dealership, music blaring, and they were clapping and hollering at me. They had a cake there to celebrate my cancer battle, along with a selection of Street Glides for me to look at.

I met everyone there, and thanked them all for the surprise, and had the best buying experience. Since it was in March, they also delivered my bike to my house for free. Excellent people, great service, and Barb the owner is a great lady to visit with. Take the time to come up here in Vermont to ride, and buy that new bike!

American Harley, Leominster, Massachusetts.

Gave me $1k more than nada trade value on my '08.
$2k off msrp
Free 1k service
Free 5k service
20% off all parts for 60 days
10% off all parts lifetime

Great family owned dealership who actually cares about their customers and knows your name when you walk in.
Great no BS service department too.

They gave me about the same deal on my RKC. OP, I suggest calling American when you're done shopping. I'd be surprised if they don't offer the best deal. They like LEO's and vet's, so mention it, if applicable.
