2011 SG with 120r motor
I'm looking to connect with others out there that have upgraded to a 120r for tips, satisfaction or not satisfied. I had a 2012 SG prior to the new bike although it's a 2011 SG its in brand new condition. I am getting used to the difference in power and gradually adjusting to the response of the 120r. I wonder what others have experienced in their adjustment time with the 120r. I am an older rider with lots of respect for this bike. I can see where it could get away from you but I'm learning my limits and in time I may stretch them. I am interested in comments from others. I'll post some pictures of the bike soon. Do you have any other specs? Ie clutch, throttle body, Inj, exhaust, intake, tuner?
I love mine but I'm already up in the air about upgrading to new cams and pistons, if I do I want the crank done first and that will put my bike out for a while so maybe next winter.
I had mine installed last summer and then went on a three week 6800 mile road trip with no issues, haven't checked my mileage lately but I have over 10,000 on it so far and love it.
Now get ready for all the S&S owners to tell you how unreliable it is and that you should have bought a bike with a 124 in it!
Congrats and welcome to the club.
