Default FLHTCUI detachable tour pack

New member here and I have just bought a 2007 FLHTCUI. I am looking to put on a detachable Tour Pack Kit on it. I have found the 4 point Mounting Kit for all the 2007 Touring Bikes P/N 53804-06 and the 2 Up Tour Pack Mount 53276-04. Big Issue all the 4 point mount P/N 53804-06 say Except FLHTCUI. Has anyone converted thier FLHTCUI Ultra Gluide Classic. If so what P/n's did you use. I hate to buy the stuff and find that there is no way of mounting. Can anyone tell me the Differance Between a FLHTCU and a FLHTCUI that would cause this not to work?????? or Is this bike going to be like my '87 FXSTC (trying to find parts for the Primary Can Suck Sometimes).

i am not sure what the difference is. i have the detachable kit on my FLHTC. the thing that i did not like about it are those triangular bars that are still on the bike once the tour pack is off. You don't end up with a sleek look. those i will be selling. there is a mount for the sissy bar/back rest that is a different location than the mounts for the tour pack mount. i am in the process of finalizing a proto-type tour pack bracket that utilizes the sissy bar mounts. this way, when the tour pack is taken off, you have a nice clean fender without those triangular bars.

Broke keep me updated on your prototype should like to see that. And Big thanks for the info will have to check that with the dealer I guess because my title has the "I" on it. And I can not see what having an injection system would make on the attachment of a tourpack.
