Default airing up the rear tire on a RKC... what a PITA !

I took me nearly 30 freekin' minutes to get my tires to 40/36 PSI... front tire is easy, the rear tire is a pain in the ***... between using my slime air gauge and ½" air hose with a standard air chuck, overinflating, letting air out and trying to get the perfect angle on the chuck without letting air out.
Why would HD put the valve stem in the rear tire at such a retarded angle next to a spoke? ...just venting.

My RKC was nothing compared to my SG. I imagine all the touring bikes are a pain. Did you take your saddlebag off?

Its a pain allright. But it can be done. However, I still can't find the valve to regulate my rear shocks. If you have a pic of that, please post it here.

Get a set of the 90* valve stems. Next tire change give them to your mechanic and have them installed. They're worth their weight in gold.

I have the 90 degree valve stems. It's still a PITA but nothing like it was.
