Default Modifying the Baffles in the Rinehart 4" slip ons

I have a 2001 Road King Classic with the 4" Rinehart slip-ons ... I want this bike to be louder! I tried the Rinehart "High Flow" performance baffles but they did not increase the sound much. So ... Im wondering if anyone out there has modified the baffles in the Rinehart slip ons? I would like to know if you were able to increase the sound by modifying the baffles and if they sounded good ... If so how did you modify the baffles?

The best way to increase the sound of these pipes is to install a cam. Sorry cant help with the baffles.

I did this to my 01 RK. It had the VH Big Shot Duals. After several different attempts, I ended up with a baffle cut down to about 4 inches. I did have to put a small paste in the end to eliminate the decel pop, but in the end I had a lower exhaust.
I think a better choice would be to go with a 2:1, I ended up with a thunderheader.

I have to agree, something about a stock TC88, it just isn't that loud. Even with my TH it's not as loud as most people claim.

On another note, when you do cams, go with the gear drive, an early bike should have very little runout.
My next upgrade.
