vrod radial tire on the front of my bagger....
I bought a set of stock 14 street glide rims with a new tire on the back and no tire on the front. I thought I would buy a front tire easy but I'm limited to Dunlop in that size (130 60 19) what I did find that fit and does provide options is a 120 70 19 that comes standard on a vrod. I go to my local dealer and ask about wheel weights cause I'm getting a little bounce at 80 and they tell me how I'm going to kill myself cause I have a 650lb vrod radial tire on a 750lb bagger. I'm calling bullshit but I want your input. Also this makes the bike radial in the front bias ply in the back. I heard this was a no no as well? Any advice?

... no to a radial on the steer "axle" with a bias ply on the rear. A radial on the rear with a bias ply on the front is fine though. A radial tire responds so much quicker than a bias ply hence the issue. This is the same with cars ... so many street drivers go to a bias ply slick at the drag strip and leave their street radials on the front and wonder why they get so squirrely on the big end. Either don't go with a radial up front or match the front with a radial in the rear. You are correct about the dealer's weight issue statement though ... that is BS.
