Default New Seat

Have a 2013 Tri-Glide, trying to find a new seat, have tried the Hammock, OK for me, wife hated it. Tried the Sundowner Tall Boy, pretty good for both of us. Lastly, tried the Sundowner Deep Pocket, just as bad as the stock seat. Any suggestions or feedback?

welcome to the forums.

just as each of us has an opinion, we have seem to have different requirements for our rear ( or spouse).

alot of the guys here have their seats custom modded by mean city cycles-

We've had the HD Road Zepplin for a few years now, serves us well.

What did your wife dislike about the hammock seat?

I had to remove the grab rail (which she used all the time) and she said it put too much pressure on her legs.

Sounds like you might want to go the custom seat route. That way you can get something that suits both you and your wife.

:+1 on the Road Zepplin. A push of the button and you are on a different seat. Front and rear seats have their own air bladders so no problems with who like what. You can ride hundreds of miles a day many days in a row with no problems.

I've heard the Road Zeppelins have failed after a couple years and the vinyly started cracking. That's a pretty expensive seat to have it go bad after a couple years.

In reply to "Ultra" one of the regulars, don't know where to start to find a custom seat builder. I live in Warren, Michigan.
