Default Superchips 5841 Vigilante EZ Hand Held Tuner

HEY guys I've been gone for a few months but I'm glade to say I am back and riding a 2012 Road king. of course a new bike means new parts. I'm ordering a set of Rineharts and a screaming eagle intake but I'm not sure where to go for programmers. I really like the superchips set up I have in my truck and the system doesn't have to stay attached to the bike it's just plug program and ride. has anyone used this on a set up close to what I have got?

thanks for the help

Ollie

This is a lengthy thread but might be worth your time to read it. Can't say that the reviews are very good.

it looks like if you get one and it works your golden. it's the tech support that is what isn't very good. do you have a superchips set up?

That sound like I'm being a dick not trying to just not that great at wording things

Ya will be much better off with a real flash tuner; Power vision/TTS/SEPST.

If you read all of the thread I posted for you I think you'll find that the problems are a bid deeper than tech support. I would go with a Power Commander or a flash tuner as old hippie suggests.

Ollie,

We are currently offering a 50% off deal to HDforums members on this product. Make sure to type "hdforums" in the coupon code box when checking out at Superchips.com.

There have been a few people who have had some bad luck on finding a compatible tune, but overall we have had a good experience. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. If you have questions about compatibility you can call our tech support at 888-227-2447 and they would be happy to let you know if the product would be a good fit. You have a fairly common setup so I am sure you would be ok.

Our philosophy is you shouldn't have to break the bank to get your bike to run right when all you need is a stage 1 adjustment.

Hi,
I recently purchased a new 2014 Seventy Two series and am strongly considering adding a http://www.fi2000r.com/html/list_vie...cle%20Exhausts so that I can benefit from a deeper and slightly louder exhaust note after knocking out the baffle plugs for the most part... But I'm wondering just how your product compares against it?
Pricing is similar, but the reviews of the Cobra unit are highly favorable and I'm having a tough time choosing.
Thanks!

Well after the slip-ons, intake and the programmer I must say this set up is pretty damn close to perfect. About 1,200 miles with no problems the only issue I have is a pop or two but other than that I'm in hog heaven.
