Default best street glide headlight?

I have an 09 street glide and I'm looking for the brightest led complete headlight assembly out there. I also want good side vision too. I came get the truck lite led one threw work for 153. Just checking to see if this is a good light before I drop the coin on it. I have tried brighter bulbs too, but the low beam elements always seem to burn out. I figure at 30+ a pop it won't take long to add up to a headlight, thanks in advance.

I used the trucklite for about 3 months. It lights up the road real good in the night and high beam is unreal, however it doesnt hold a candle to the daymaker in the daylight. My daymaker is equally as good at night compared to the trucklite at high beam.

All in all, Im glad I spend the extra dough for the daymaker and would do it again. BTW its $400 at Kutterharleyonline.com

Good luck

Bottom line day makers!!! best money you will spend... you can buy hid's but eventually they will not satisfy like the day maker will

Is the daymaker better than the truck lite phase 7? I've heard 50/50 both ways. I just can't see dropping 549 on a headlight

I'm in the market as well since I just bought the HD spotlight bracket to put on my SG. Figured I might as well replace the headlight at the same time. I read that review about TL and Harley's leds. Seems they like the TL and for the money, I'm leaning that way too. I'd probably run with my spots on during the day so visibility shouldn't be bad doing that.

just got rid of the truck lite myself .. went back to stock and got some driving lites to match.. halogen proved better to me than the truck lite.. no side vision... very limiting on country backroads for deer or regular roads and corners...

the driving lites made all the difference to me

just my two cents..
