Default H.O.G membership

H.O.G membership renewal is upon me. Want to take a poll my brothers and see if you think it should be renewed or not?

Renew to continue benefits:

* Best Western Hotel Ride Rewards...Not my usual hotel of choice
* Special member rates on wireless from AT&T...have Verizon
* Harley-Davidson Insurance...have State Farm
* H.O.G magazine (Print and digital editions)...Kinda useless
* H.O.G Roadside Assistance... < Worth it?
* H.O.G Americas Touring handbook...Have one
* Rallies and events...Don't attend
* H.O.G Mileage Program and ABC's of Touring contest....Sounds like BS

Is there someone who can chime in on the benefits of continuing to be a H.O.G member?
Thanks for your input brothers. Just wanna get feedback from the many, many seasoned riders as I am. Helps in the decision making.
Sorry if it has been But I did not find anything in search.

You all stay safe and enjoy the your rides.

Do you do anything with the local HOG group? Do you use the HOG discount? Do you use the Mileage program? If you do not use the benefits, why have them?

I was thinking the same thing...I think the only benefit is the H.O.G Roadside Assistance... ...I compared it to adding towing to my insurance and it was less expensive...Also the first year of the HOG membership is free

I'd dump it and spent the $$$ on a decent roadside assistance package

Yeah, been discussed tons of times here. Put HOG Renew in search and I came up with over 300 threads so may want to look at those (which will take lots of time.)

Do you like it? Do you use it ? Is it worth it to YOU ?
I guess I question why somebody would come on an internet site and ask a question like that. Why does it matter what your ( brothers) do ?
Maybe I'm just too old for social media.

I'm not going to renew mine when it's due. Like everything else that HD puts their name on its over priced.

Nope, not worth it for me-Canadian benefits are even less useful. Maps? I got maps...roadside assistance comes with my insurance, Last few BW hotels I stayed at with my HOG card were 3 times the price of the Motel 6 across the way. Local group doesnt care if youre paid up or not to ride with them when I choose to do so.
Save money, buy beer with it
