Default clutch upgrade?

After my mods, the clutch is slipping. I'm considering either the SE clutch set or Barnett Kevlar or carbon fiber clutch packs. Anyone tried either of these two? Which would be the best for my 09 SG making 94 HP and 103 ft. Lbs of tq?

Tia,

Is it properly adjusted?.... Just wondering. Wouldn't stock handle this bump in power normally?

Try the SE spring first. $30.

I put the Barnett Kevlar +1 kit on my FLTRX a couple months back. I like the setup. I initially used the Barnett HD clutch spring (450lbs) with the pack and recently changed to the Barnett standard spring (350lbs) and like it much better. The lever pull is reduced significantly. I also installed a Hayden tensioner while I was in there as well. Alto carbon fiber was my first choice but were back ordered so I went with my second. As previously stated, you may want to try replacing your clutch spring with the Barnett standard or SE (380lbs) before spending the money to replace the pack. A lot of people have success with adding the tougher spring.

I have the spring but I haven't installed it yet. My 09 has 31k so I was thinking its probably time for a clutch anyway? Visual inspection would verify I guess...

Adjusted correctly. Only started slipping after the upgrades and seen on the dyno .

Install the spring, your clutch discs should be fine unless your doing something abusive to it. After a good bit of research, I went with Alto Carbonite clutch disks ($131 from Amazon).

I didn't know, this was more of a question for me ....I guess if you go up in displacement like a 107 kit, a new clutch and stronger spring is in order then.
