2012 ultra true duals

Be prepared for lots of answers on this one. Kinda like asking which are the best speakers to put on your bike! I have 2011, 103 Limited Ultra. I put on Vance & Hines Power Duals, mainly to get rid of all that heat, but a buddy has them on his & recommended them. Not sure about the sound differences in head pipes, but I have more "guts" with the Power Duals. Plenty of get-up-and-go to get out into traffic from an onramp, and good low-end torque. If on a 2-lane at 55 or 60, I don't have to go down to 5th to pass somebody. I have Vance & Hines High Output slip-ons on now, but I've had Rush Big Louies also. The Rush is nice because there are different size baffles, if it's too loud or not loud enough. In Rush, the larger the diameter baffle, the louder it'll be. I had the biggest one --- 2.5" baffle, and it was a nice deep bagger sound, but got louder as the packing burned off around the baffle. You'll probably have to go to a bike night, or a dealer on a nice Saturday morning, and ask people to "fire it up" for you. They will. When you hear something you like, you'll say, "that's what I want, right there."

Thanks for all the great replies. I figured the Vance & Hines X pipe would make a power difference. As the X pipe on my mustang made a huge difference. I don't get much time on the weekends as I work one of the crazy Railroad jobs. Thursday - Monday 3pm to 3am. Most of my riding is by myself, here a few bikes go by with nice sounding exhaust.
