Thanks a lot!

I believe a 140 is the biggest you can go on a pre-09 bagger frame.

the metzeler mu85 888 is an awesome tire i put the matching mt90 on front and my 06 rides better than it ever did with dunflops. BTW A 150 should work. it's only 5mm on each side. measure it and check for clearance first.

I run a Dunlop Elite 3 mu (140) on the back & it fits & handles great. Stock Dunlops suck but the Elite 3 rocks. I've run Metzler & Avon which handled better than the stock tires but I got shitty mileage & they were expensive. The Elite 3's handle great, get over twice the mileage & are cheaper. Whatever you get make sure you check tire pressure every couple weeks & use the MFGS pressure (website) not the H-D pressures listed.

150 will fit an 07 without issue on a stock wheel. Have at it.

I run a 160 rear on the stock wheel of my '07. I had to install the wheel on the bike with the tire deflated to get the caliper in, but it fits fine once everything is installed. A 140 fits in front but is very close to the fender on both sides.
