Idling Problems
I ride a 2009 Ultra and am having problems with my Idle. Bike wants to idle at just over 2000 RPM, if I roll the throttle forward it will decrease but it idles back up when I release the throttle. Has any one had anything like this?

Sounds like the grip is to too tight. There needs to be a little back and forth movement.

cycle ignition switch on/off 4 times with Stop.Run switch set to Run.
On - count 1,2,3
Off - Count 1,2,3
repeat 3 more times.
by the way, this happens when you shut off the bike with rpm above idle. ECM sometimes remembers the rpm as the "new idle".

yeah, I have to remember to use my right hand to turn off the ignition switch when shutting down.
the old habit of using my kill switch will often require a throttle reset as outlined above
