I went with rinehart slimline duals and their 4 inch slip-ons..
They are not a tru-dual though but an H-pipe design similar to what I had/have with the 09 stock non/cat headpipe.
I had 3.5 the rinehart's with them.
They sounded good, but I thought I had somewhat of a heat issue even with my oil-bud oil cooler dropping the temp 35 degrees.
Anyway I do have cams but thought it was time to change out the header-pipe and as a result gained some by the seat of the pants anyway HP/TQ.
4 inch rinehart's sound deeper and meaner now.
The 3.5's were a bit raspier.
Still have the heat issue, which is endemic to HD's I'm afraid?

I was thinking of those too. If you get them, please PM me and post here and let me know the results.

De-cat your stock head pipes and save the $$ to spend on the Stage I tune.
It will be plenty loud, and not much performance difference from aftermarket head pipe.
Worked for me.

Bought a 2012 ultra a couple months ago. Had Rhinharts already on it and stock air filter. The dam thing was sick. Would not hardly run 80 mph and pinged all the time at cruise. I bought a tuner from a buddy and added a ness big sucker filter. Downloaded a tune from the interweb and another buddy that owns a bike shop changed a few things and the bike is unreal now. I would bet it has to be close to high 80's to 90 hp and 90's in torque. Befor I bet it may have been 65 hp. That shows you what the air filter and mostly the tune will do for them . These guys boasting about 100 hp and 100 ft. Lbs torque with just a cam. If the stock bike is tuned correctly it's almost there. They will show dyno charts on a bone stock non tuned bike and then show the new cam dyno run next to it. And you think? 35 hp gain with a cam. More like maybe 5 to 10 when comparing a tuned stock cam to the new cam. Not saying you won't want a nice cam. But I have a springer sitting next to it with 100 plus hp and 100 plus torque and it's fun to ride but this tuned stock 103 is almost as fun and have not spent but 250 bucks.

2.5 year old thread and this is how you bump it up?
I like you used the search feature though.
To add to the thread....
I went with an S&S Power Tune head pipe for my 4" Rinehart's and hungered for just a bit more. The 2.5" High Performance baffles were just the ticket and woke those 4"ers up. Combined with a V&H FP3, I'm ecstatic the way she's running.

Not that I have measured, but from doing this mod (decat) it will add 30% more volume to your current slip ons. I used the window cut out method with the stock header on the bike. Took about 1.5 hrs start to finish. It also meats your criteria of "cheap"
