I wax the windshield before I go (and everytime I wax the bike). On trips, I put a small bottle of quick detailer spray and a microfiber towel in the saddlebag. Everything wipes right off.

For decades I've carried a can of Pledge and an old t-shirt. When ever I'd gas up, I'd wipe the windshield down. I've updated to using a microfiber cloth, though I can't say I find it to work really any better than an old t-shirt. I've tried many different magical cleaners, keep coming back to Pledge.

Harley used to make a little kit that had 3- 4 mini pump bottles in it and a rag for cleaning on the road. Don't know if they still do.Might call the dealer.

I am surprised that the peroxide and water hasn't come up yet. This solution works by far better than anything out there. For those that haven't used it, spray it on and WATCH the bugs fizz and turn white and practically drip right off. Once you try peroxide you will not use anything else.

I had one and it did work good but they revamped all their cleaning supplies last year or year before.

I carry a spray bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide. Spray it on, let it soak for a few minutes, and it works amazingly well!

My friends laugh at me at our "stops" because I get the bugs off the entire front of my bike at each stop. It only takes me 2 minutes, which is less time that it takes them to smoke their cigarettes........and when they stop laughing, they say..."hey man, let me get some of that Meguiars Quick Detailer and that microfiber cloth you have."

I use pledge ( a generous amount) applied with a clean saturated micro fiber towel. A clean micro fiber towel to wipe off. will not scratch. I always use a clean or new towel to apply.
