Default SafetyMan's Garage, Vol 1.: How to Clean Your Windshield the EASY way

I'll tell y'all a secret to removing bugs.

*looks over both shoulders*

*looks under counter... just to be sure nobody is listening*

Once you get your shield CLEAN. And I mean C>L>E>A>N>... Order some Cee Bailey's Rain Repellent Max, formulated for Motorcycle and Aircraft windshields.

Follow the directions on the bottle.

You will never need a "wet towel" or "peroxide" again.

I went to Corpus Christi last Friday, left home at 4pm, got to Howard's BBQ for the C.O.I.R. Bike Night at 7, left there at 9pm, and home at midnight... 360 miles on the evening.

Picked up a few South Texas bugs along the highway at 90mph. They have been there since, and I have ridden in the "Texas in July" heat every day. I'm currently on "vacation".

Watch, enjoy, maybe learn something...

The stuff does appear to work well but I can probably buy a gallon of hydrogen peroxide for the price of that bottle which has worked well for me on my bikes and cars. I use it full strength, spray it on, let it sit until the bug guts turn white and wipe them off with a wet micro fiber towel. I also keep my windshield heavily waxed which I'm sure helps with the debris removal.

It's always good to have other options available to us since everyone's financial situation is different.
