Recently picked up '84 bagger. Apparently late '84 the first evo in a 5 speed were produced.

I stripped the fairing, the bags, and am trying like crazy to create the look my '80 flh has with chrome Nacelle headlight, sleek cruiser look with only front crash bars. Nobody will guarantee fitment on the headlight housing . This year had dual front brakes, and a 5 speed tranny (no chrome primary covers to be found)

Has anyone had any luck with creating the chromed sealed headlight area the triple clamps are way different than the '80 and all the connections may not fit into the headlight (if there is one that works) . Next question is what can I move to a tank dash as in speedo, ignition switch controls, etc.
