Took the BAL1 Tail Light off my 2012 Electra Glide Classic before I trade it in on a new 2014 Ultra Limited. Before I remove the Tail Light and check, can someone tell me if it'll work on my 2014?

Depending on the age of the BAL, the number of modes, or patterns, may be limited, but it will work. Mine does.

 

If your 2012 has a BCM, it will work. You can call them with your serial on the light to verify.
Fits 1999* and Newer Models Touring, Dyna (except '09 & newer Street Bob), Softail (except Deluxe,Deuce, & Springer Classic), and Sportster (except '07 & newer 1200 Nightster) - Verify your existing model illuminates the license plate. **This version is NOW compatible with 2011+ Softail, 2012+ Dyna, & 2014 Touring models with BCMs.

 

The one I had on my 2011 FXDC works on my 2014 FLHR but it has limited functions. All three intensity levels work but only a few of the flash modes work. I have mine set to flash three times then stay on. E mail BAL and they will reply with compatibility for your model. They were very responsive when I contacted them and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Tail light from them.
