Default Used road glides opinions

Ok, so I am looking at 3 different road glides, all with similar pricing.

2010 Custom, Vivid Black, 8500 miles, chrome wheels & front end, day maker headlights, V&H 2 into 1 exhaust, with a V&H slip on that I don't recognize SE air cleaner with football cover, and Klock Werks taller shield.

Priced at $18,900

2011 Custom, Sedona Orange, 2200 miles, pretty much stock

$18,995

2011 Ultra, silver and blue, 18,000 miles, all stock

$17,900

Love the look of the customs, love the function of the ultra. If I were to get a custom, I would add lowers and a tour pak. (I already have lowers that I will keep, and paint to match new bike)

Looking at the custom and the ultra sued by side, the ultra looks taller, both front and rear, and takes away from the sleek look, may just be that big seat, IDK.

I still need to have the 2 dealers appraise my trade, so I really can't judge $ until that happens. I am thinking I should get at least 8 for my trade, do you think that's in the ball park?

I am just confused, but am leaning towards one of the customs, which, by the way seem over priced seeing that's what they sold for new 4-5 years ago.

Thoughts?

The 2010 has some nice extras that ad up quick. Low mileage and the price is in the ball park.

I'm not a big fan of black on a vehicle but the 2010 seems like the better deal to me. With the new RG coming out in a few days. I'd say wait and see what its like and if the price of used ones drop any.

What those guys said about Sedona Orange.

Here's mine that I picked up last Friday! ! I love the way it looks in the sun. The tuned 103 really hauls. My face hurts from smiling!

Are the add ons on the black bike what you would buy for the other 2? Personally, I'd take the Ultra and shuck it down. But then I use the CB and like the big seat and tour pack for trips. And I changed wheels and rear shocks to get the custom profile.

I have a custom, my uncle loved it, and went out and bought... and Ultra.

He wishes he had bought a custom.

The seat, bars, and shocks are different. The Ultra sits higher and closer. I feel cramped on his.

But, the 13" shocks do have a plush ride.

The custom is sleeker, lower, more stretched out feeling, and has a much sexier rear fender with the fillers.
(does that 2010 have the rear facia trim and fillers? hmmm? Maybe not ?)

Get a custom and add a box/lowers for the ultimate.

I am not a fan of single exhaust, so I would go for the 2011 Sedona, and do it up!

You will be set for years !

Just my opinion but I think all three are overpriced. These bikes are obviously from a stealer. I don't know how people pay those ridiculous prices. Look for a private sale you will do much better. Kelly Blue book on a 2010 for example is 15k for an immaculate specimen. Extra's don't count. When you trade your bike you will discover that!
I just paid 15K for the bike in my Sig pic (1 month ago)and it only had 500 miles on it. That was top dollar.
FYI, you mentioned Lower fairings from a previous bike, keep in mind if they are from a EG they will not fit a RG.
