Looking at an RGU, as there are no customs in my neck of the woods. I like lowers and a tour pak, but something about the ultra looks like a big fat momma, Lol

I want to see them fist fully dressed with a short shield, and a more slim lined seat, and in RGC mode. Really trying to figure out if I can get the look I want out of an ultra.

Same bike with a wheel and shock change. Takes 5 min to put the seat and TP on.

 

Did the wheel change affect the handling any?

 

Ride isn't as "plush" with the lo pro tires, but will drag the floorboards at will with either set.

 

I am going to go look at a 2011 vivid black/ merlot sunglo one tomorrow. Color in the pics look similar to yours. What year and color combo do you have?

I looked at a silver/blue one, not sure I liked that the color. Yours looks soo much better, but you do have some nice mods.

 

Its a vivid black 13. Stripe starts out brown and fades to silver on the bags.

 

...... i've got a tall shield, and it's not an 'Ultra', but other than that .......


........ and yeah, it feels a bit lighter w/o the TP .......... & the lowers never come off

Well, got an email from the dealer that had the 11 ultra I was going to look at today is sold, thinking that It's just not the time for me to buy. This is #4 that sold. Leaning more towards converting my 06.
