I have been using a Daytona Twin Tech tuner cost about $250.00 three years ago, good product but wish I had the bread to buy a self tuning model.
You can adjust the one I have on the fly but you need to have the chart to make adjustments as needed. You need a tach on the bike so you can identify the range you want to tweak. With the cost and finding a good dyno tech you can easily exceed the cost of a self tuning unit.
If I were a rich man...

I have a 103 did the de-cat with Slip-Ons and just felt it would run cooler and better with a tuner . I have a Power Vision and did a map from Fuel Moto no auto tunes yet but I can see it coming . It did cut my mileage about 3 mpg I was getting 50 or 52mpg so it did what I needed it to do add gas . The bike runs well and a bunch cooler .

Yes you should get a tuner, as another poster said with the slip ons and upgraded air cleaner it may of been a good ideal to of had one then. Now there is a chance the dealer did a flash but a tuner would make it run a lot better. Now that you want to add the Cobras you should definitely get some kind of tuner. Riders choice.
I started my Cobra Power Port install today, I chose to go with the Fp3, budget friendly for me and I probably will not do more then a stage 1 anyways. But anyways good luck to you.
