Default Which tuner for an 03 RK

Hey. First post. Longtime rider. Maybe y'all can help.

I've got an 03 RK, the Trusty Road Kill, that I've had since new, and am in the market for a new tuner.

Riding style:
50/50 two up or solo.
I ride all year and everywhere.
Commute a lot in Dallas
I ride fairly hard and in all kinds of weather.
When I tour, I ride 500 miles a day.
I've ridden 4 IBAs on her so far.

The Bike:
Stage 1 AC with stage 1 re-flash
Poor man's duals with Hooker tune flow.
Converted to gear drive about 10,000 miles ago.
He put a somewhat hotter cam when he changed to the gear drive, but I have know idea what the specs are.

It doesn't ping or rattle unless I lug it. The plugs look like she's running a little hot though, and I would like to make her run a little richer because I plan on riding her for the rest of my life. I'm also planning on a 95" kit and other goodies as time goes on. Might be try pulling a trailer with it too.

I'm leaning toward the Dynojet, as I've used their products back in the carbureted days, but there are several IFI tuners out there. Which one should I use?
Thanks!
lr

You would be fine with a PCV. Without O2s PV/TTS is kinda overkill unless ya plan on a dynotune.

I went with the PC III. I have gear driven cams now and will eventually get around to my 95-inch build.

Power vision . Hands down, everything from diagnostics help and log data to the ability to alter your tune. Mine is dyno'd here and when I go towards the coast I have a tweaked version of my dyno . All I do is switch tunes. I can store up to 6 different tunes.

since u dont know what cams u got, a dyno tune is a must, find a reputable tuner in your area and use whatever device the tuner likes best, the devise itself is far less important than the competence of the dyno operator.

Since you live in Dallas, the best dyno man lives right there. Call Ed at the dyno difference and ask him. He will give you a straight answer on which turner will work for you and the future. I will send you a PM with his contact number.
