What kind of mod can I make to get a little more sound out of these slip ons , they were givento me , and I thought they would give me a better sound on my 2011 road king.

Remove the cat from your headpipe or put after market baffles like the Fulsac baffles in them. I put some slipons off a 2013 CVO Ultra Classic on my 14 Limited. They were quieter then my stock mufflers when I put them on but after a few thousand miles they are now louder than the stock mufflers. I guess it takes a few thousand miles to "burn them in".

in stock form, those mufflers are designed to make a 110'' engine meet epa specs. ergo, on a 103, they will be even quieter than the stock mufflers off your 103. but, like the poster above suggested, go with the fullsac baffles. i have them on my cvo, and the wife has the cvo mufflers with the 2.0 baffles on her 103. sounds nice and deep, but is not obnoxiously loud.

and since they were given to you, $119 is not a bad price for a nice exhaust.
