kinda like you pump your tires up to 100 pounds...don;t blame Dunlop if they don;t last

I agree but not honoring warranty for slip ons,air cleaners, flag poles, trailer hitch, etc is crazy. and before you respond to trailer hitch there is no difference pulling a 150 lbs trailer with 50 or 75 lbs of gear than having a 200 lb plus passenger and 75 lbs of gear in the bags or tour pack and rack

maybe not. so when you underwrite the warranty be sure to make that exception. as long as the moco does the warranty, they set the rules, break them and you are at their mercy

I have never saw or had a stage one kit cause a problem with warranty. As some one said if you put a tuner on and raise the rev limiter way up and start running up there then yes you are asking for trouble. Don't expect any warranty on the parts you add to the bike like slip ons if they blue or the chrome comes off. They are hesitant to warranty chrome on the factory stuff. As far as trailer hitch the dealer is required if they trade for a bike with hitch on it they have to take it off before reselling it through harley. I didn't say they wouldn't put one on for you which they will. If you trade in and have hitch and want it on the new bike they will stick it on. From what I understand it is more an handling safety issue than load issue.

I have a few riding buddies who took their bikes in for warranty and Harley denied warranty because of the trailer hitch. One was recent he has a 2015 tri glide that he put a hitch on and his motor developed a tick so he took it in the bike has 1200 miles and was his warranty was voided because of the hitch

I had an electrical issue with mine.
I removed the tuner and put the stock a/c back on before I took it in for warranty work.
I did leave the FM head pipe on and the dealer said nothing.

I just sold my 2010 Ultra with 100K on it to a friend who had just sold his Busa drag bike. He ran a 13.6 with basically a stock high mile 96" bagger. There is a big set around here that likes racing Harleys. He wants to get 10 flat or less out of the geezer glide. True enough the Busa was turning 8s and looking for 7s, but I guess it just isn't the same

This should have been a reply to some Busa fans, I haven't posted in awhile.
