This is my 2013 FLHRC that I mentioned in my new member post. Only has 161 miles on it so it is in new condition. The dealer installed Bassani slipons as well as Avon grips. The security is disabled though. I don't know if the module was removed or just manually disabled. The dealer did not have the fobs for it or the manual. I'm guessing it was probably a repo. The only pics I have right now are the website pic and the one I took while the paperwork was being done. I will get better pics hopefully this weekend at the house. Right now it's dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home

The salesman said I would need to take it to an HD dealership and have a system installed. I'm trying to find out where the module would be located so I can see if I just need fobs to pair with it or both the module and the fobs. When the switch is turned on, the security icon lights up for four or five seconds and then goes off. I would think it would blink or something if the module was missing or bad but I don't know anything about that.

 

Are you having to do the manual start every time without the fob?

 

It probably just needs new fobs and activation. My 2014 didn't have security activated when I brought it home due to confusion with a dealer transfer. It behaved just like yours did.
