Gas is high. They tax the crap out of it. But so are our incomes so it all balances out

 

Y'all probably don't wanna come here. ..WAAAY too expensive...maybe tour Zimbabwe...much cheaper...

 

The taxes reflect who you elect. Vote differently if you think they are too high.

California is a beautiful place, tremendous diversity and with a lot of good people and it's share of kooks as well.
The extra 5-10 dollars a day in gas will pale in comparison to the food, beer and hotels.
Bottom line is you had better budget an extra 25-50 dollars a day for most areas and 100 extra for others.

 

No doubt it's great to ride year round but at what price? Maybe $10 bucks a gallon ...

 

I ride 10 months a year in Vancouver, Canada.
My gas price for medium grade is about $1.60 per litre which works out to about $6.00 a gallon (3.78 litres to a gallon).
Quit your damn bellyaching. You don't have high gas prices!
