Also you can use the stock 140 tooth belt if you don't mind slotting your swingarm. That's what I did and it cut the cost in half.

Every dyno chart crosses at 5250. Even for cars. It's a math calculation thing. A dyno ONLY measures the power(hp) output of the engine/drivetrain (the acceleration of the roller(s)), and extrapolates the torque based on it.
You are right on the crossing at 5250. The HP is the calculated number as the torque is measured. Formula is HP=TorqueXRPM divided by 5252.

I used the 30 tooth a couple of times and just bought the 2012 Triglide front Pulley for around $70 and The gates belt from Belt Drives Limited part number BDL-SPC-139-1 belt. The hardest part is getting the 2 1/4" pulley broke loose. Harley puts about teaspoon full of lock tite on it. The SEPST won't adjust the Speedo in case that is what you are using.

The Baker pulley is 2 pounnds lighter than the crappy rusty HD pulley and very well made. You can also replace your clutch basket w an Evo industries 49 tooth basket as an alternative

I don't know why you want to change the final drive ratio when you got 6 gears, run it in 5th more. ijsay'n.

Simply because it gives you more performance from idle to wide open and you have 6 gears you can use. You can take off in 1st without giving any gas. I also shift lots less and run 6th gear at 55 mph. You can crank on the throttle at 60 mph in 6th and it will take up the slack in the front forks and that is with cams. When riding in town you seldom have to shift out of 5th unless below 35mph. It also adds about 10% more torque which is about the same amount as a simple cam change. You can run the bigger cams and still have them behave very well at low speeds. Even better than adding compression. Only draw back is you have to have a tuner or some device to correct speedo.

I agree but... that infamous word!

57H will run well on a stock build motor but you will not realize their full potential until you have a set of flowed heads put on. Running 111/122 with flowed heads.. she's a blast to ride..

I did the opposite, I took the 57h's out and installed the S&S 551's (comparably to the 222's) The 57h's are great cams but the come on later then I like. I rarely shift over 4 k and I like having all that torque down low... Good Luck!

Default plus 4 advance

Anyone tried +4 advance to make the 57h come on sooner? I'm thinking it would mirror the low end of the 222, yet still run out last 4000 like the OP wants.
