inner race and bearing question
can someone tell me if there is another seal on the primary side of the main drive gear?
race walked into drive gear and after I pulled it out i found remnants of what looks like parts of the inner primary seal jammed behind were race walked, but seal looks(not perfect), ok so must be another seal between race and gear? that got obliterated. see the pick of what was found behind race. pic 1 is race on pic 2 is race off pix 3 is material that was discovered behind it.
thanks for your help!

there was only a thin wore out metal paper thin and metal band left(nothing to really pull out jammed behind the race and in front of drive sprocket(used a pick).See picture #3
I think 5th gear seal is on the tranny side of main drive(belt).
And whatcha think about the bearing in backwards?.

The oil seal you need is Part#12077. The two extra parts in pic3 is what's left of it. With 52k miles on it, I would replace seals in tranny. All you have left to do to get to them is remove pulley. Tranny parts list would include:
Seal Part#12074
Shifter Shaft Seal Part#37101-84B
O-ring Part#11201
The o-ring goes behind the collar that rides in the tranny main seal.
