Hello I recently asked the dumb question about what's the best exhaust set up for my 14 SG and got a lot of great reply's, But Naturally every one loves THEIR set up best. So member ''Hozzie'' had a good Idea. Lets tell people about bad Exhaust set ups or maybe open it up to Bad products out there also To warn other members and maybe save some one some cash. I don't want this to turn into a brand / Product bash area.... If you had an exhaust package that didn't work/ sounds like **** combo let's tell other members but Please include why or what was wrong with it to be fair, Not just a I had xxxxx on my bike and they sucked.

 

Why stop at exhaust?

 

 

 

the problem here is that one exhaust may sound shiddy to one guy but the next guy likes it! If you have plans of building the motor someday and want the best #'s possible then you kind of narrow the field. If you are not building in the future and sound is all you are after then your best bet is to hit up the local bike outtings and ask owners what exhaust they are running after you hear it and like it.

 

This will be like posts about bad wives! LOL

 

Primetime hit the nail on the head with his answer. To many opinions out there for a thread like this to actually help anyone out. The best advice is to go listen BEFORE you buy.

Great attempt...but you may hate V&H...but I love them. You may hate chrome...I love it. You may hate big rims with skinny tires cuz it didn't work for you---I personally know they work just fine. I truly do not like the sounds of rhineharts....but it would be unfair to say they sound like $#% ...they just don't have the sound I want. Oh lord---look at how many say baggers--even with mini-apes-- is stupid and your hands fall asleep!!! 5 day trip and I'm still waiting for my hands to fall asleep. PCV vs Sert, C&C vs Mustang.....yeah, impossible that this wont turn into bashing
