It is a lot, but i was considering another bike. So this is a lot cheaper than the loss I would take on my bike if I sold it. I just hope it turns out good

I sure hope its worth it. Im just concerned about the plugs being handmade. Hope they’ll hold up to being plugged and unplugged for removal of tourpak

If they use Deutsch connectors, you will be fine. That's what I used when I did mine and they are pretty sturdy.

What exactly are they doing? You never went into detail.

well it started off as just a tourpak detach kit, then they said cause it was CVO it won’t work right with stereo amp. So I’ve had to buy a new HD amp that will fit in saddlebag. Also, Im having stereo antenna put in fairing. Then they came back and said I won’t be able to use CB at all without buying more stuff. I just said disconnect it, Ive never used the Cb in 10 yrs of Ultras. So basically just a tourpak detach kit on a CVO. So it went from roughly $1000 to $2000

Where is the amp located on CVO Street Glides? Can you locate your amp in the same location?

I know, right? If its done properly, Ill be happy to be able to remove it. I bought the Ultra against my better judgement for my wifes sake. Its nice, but without it Ill like it a lot more
