don was killed last night on the blue ridge parkway.his wife is in critical condition.please pray for his immediate family,as well as his extended family.don ran a top notch dealership here in north carolina.he will be missed.

 

Don was a great guy, and I used to love going into his dealership. RIP, and well wishes to his wife also.

I picked up my new Road Glide Special there this morning. I couldn't believe it, when they told me what happened. That is a real close knit group there, its like a big family, some of them are. You could really tell a lot of them where in pain, and it was hard to be there. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Each and every time that I hear about a motorcyclist being killed I can't help but think about why we all ride. Because we love to ride. I never met the man but he must have been a good guy. Rest in Peace Don.

Don and Robinette ran top notch HD dealerships in Statesville and Salisbury. I learned to ride again at their Salisbury dealership where I also bought both my bikes. The personnel there is second to none.
